Saucer CleanUp Day
SCD /ess-see-dee/ ・noun
Every second Saturday of each month, goobs from across the galaxies step into nature separately to clean up any litter we come across, and though we’ll be scattered across maps and time zones,
the shared intention will thread us together.
Come be trashy with us.

A Few Gentle Guidelines
🚸 Safety First
- Avoid sharp or hazardous items (glass, needles, chemical containers).
- Wear gloves if possible.
- Keep an eye on footing, especially near water, uneven woodland, or slopes.
🌱 Be Respectful of the Environment
- Do not disturb wildlife, nests, burrows, tidal pools, or plant habitats.
- Avoid removing natural objects (leaves, branches, rocks, shells).
- If unsure whether something belongs, leave it.
🧰 Recommended Items
- Gloves
- A rubbish bag (preferably reusable)
- Hand sanitiser
- Closed shoes
- A small tool or picker
♻️ Disposal
- Sort litter where possible into recycling and general waste.
- If your area lacks facilities, collect only what you can responsibly dispose of.
🫶🏻 Mindful Pace
- This is not a competition. There’s no leaderboard, no tally.
- Clean at whatever pace feels kind to your body and spirit.
- If you simply walked with intention and picked up one item, you participated beautifully
📷 Sharing Afterwards
When you’re done, feel free to post in the discord or tag @rossersaucer on IG:
- A photo of the location
- A snapshot of what you collected
- A short note about the experience or summarise with an emote
Please be careful not to dox yourself or others. Sharing is warmly welcomed, but entirely optional.
For Collaborations
Saucer Cleanup Day is an ongoing, monthly initiative documented in a calm and whimsical manner through live streams.
We are currently interested in exploring collaborations that support:
-
gentle, stabilised movement through space
-
clear and immersive environmental sound
-
a documentation style that remains unobtrusive
If this resonates, we would be happy to share further context or recent recordings.
Let your being renew the grounds, just as the trees renew the air.
