Nakama 仲間 is a Japanese word referring to a close-knit group or circle of friends who share goals and experiences, often implying a deeper, almost familial bond forged through shared obstacles, common purpose, or teamwork. While it can mean coworker or teammate in daily life, it's famously used in Japanese narratives to denote a crew or chosen family united by a powerful, enduring commitment.
Because of what it means to become a member of RosserSaucer, I've chosen Nakama as our name to honour the intention behind your membership and the impact it has on not only myself as pilot, but the entire community on board.
